This is the IQ8PLUS-72-2-US 240V gridtie microinverter from Enphase, suitable for modules ranging from 235-440 watts. The IQ8PLUS comes with a proprietary application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) which enables the microinverter to operate in grid-tied or off-grid modes. This chip is built in advanced 55nm technology with high speed digital logic and has super-fast response times to changing loads and grid events, alleviating constraints on battery sizing for home energy systems. The IQ8PLUS integrates with the Enphase IQ Battery and Enphase IQ Gateway (sold separately). Installers can also download the Enphase App for easy system monitoring and analysis. The IQ8PLUS is RSD compliant and meets CA Rule 21 (UL 1741-SA) requirements.
