A look back and a vision for the future
Our CEO Lauren Carson launched Kinect Solar in 2015 because she recognized solar businesses needed better, specialized inventory solutions. As Kinect Solar grew, the team saw a need for solar-specialized logistics services. In 2019, we launched our logistics service offering for the utility scale market.
As Kinect Solar has continued to expand since then, our team has never stopped looking for ways to better help our partners do what they do best: bring solar electricity to businesses and communities across the country. And we’ve never stopped looking for ways to bring more value to the markets and communities we engage with.
Some notable advances this year include further expanding our warehouse network to give you unparalleled location selection, new and stronger partnerships with domestic manufacturers to make sure you qualify for more incentives, and the launch of our formal giving initiative, Kinect Cares.
