Reducing our carbon footprint
One of the many things we love about solar energy is that it reduces carbon emissions. To further minimize the carbon footprint of our operations, we’re planting a tree for every truckload of solar modules that leaves a Kinect Solar warehouse.
We’ve planted 4,512 trees so far this year in partnership with Conservation International, where we are proud to be an Emerald Circle member.
Solar Panel Recycling
Supporting a circular solar industry
We’re committed to minimizing solar waste. Developing a circular solar industry, where discarded panels are disassembled and separated so valuable material can be recovered for use, makes solar energy even better for the planet.
In support of this developing cycle, we’ve recycled 29,535 lbs of solar panels to date. That’s almost 30,000 pounds diverted from a landfill!
Donations
Embracing corporate responsibility
We’re proud to provide ongoing donations of working solar panels and other items for humanitarian aid, artistic endeavors, and other good causes.
As a women-owned business, we have also chosen to partner with Mothers’ Day Movement. This organization encourages families who celebrate Mother’s Day to shift their gift-giving habits and make a difference for women and their families around the globe. This year, our donation was provided to Family Promise.
