We’re Kinect Solar. We optimize solar supply chains by providing our partners with end-to-end solutions, unmatched expertise, and superior service.
As demand for solar was exploding in 2015, our founder and CEO Lauren Carson realized a strong secondary market would be essential for healthy growth. From its inception, Kinect Solar has had two big goals:
- Give solar manufacturers, distributors, and large EPC companies straightforward tools for success
- Optimize the life of solar equipment to reduce waste and maximize clients’ profits
Our services have evolved from small resale deals to the comprehensive third-party solar solutions we offer customers today. We’re always hustling to provide our clients and partners the best options in an ever-changing market. One thing we’ll never change, though, is our commitment to customer service. We approach every deal with the same enthusiasm and attention to detail as our first.
We aspire to be the most trusted supply chain solutions provider in the solar industry.

Kinect Solar is uniquely positioned to provide our partners with broad, all-encompassing solar solutions – both today and into the future.

kinetic + connection =
Kinetic comes from the Greek word kinētikos, meaning “of motion,” and it fits: Our company and our industry are dynamic, energetic, and always moving forward.
Connection is about relationships — between people, systems, and so much more. We are committed to building meaningful relationships with our partners and vendors.

“We’re problem solvers. I want customers to think of us as an extension of their team.”
Thoughts from Our CEO:
There’s no stopping solar’s momentum – it’s only getting more efficient from a cost standpoint and from a grid-management standpoint. It’s thrilling to be part of it.
Still, we call it the “solar coaster” for a reason. Whether we’re dealing with global supply-chain issues or the ups and downs of relations between the US and China, this industry is a wild ride. I want us to be the best at what we do – providing our partners with broad-picture, all-encompassing solutions to navigate the twists and turns.
There’s no other company like Kinect Solar with our unique focus on solar logistics. For most businesses, logistics used to be a small line item, but now the cost has gone up 10 times. Navigating that shift is just one way we’re leading the industry.
After six years in solar, we’re just getting started. We have big dreams and big plans. I invite you to join us on this “solar coaster” – you won’t find a better team to help you navigate solar’s ups and downs. Most importantly, you’ll like working with us.
